Even if you do unplug a CRT there's still a nasty charged stored in there until either your face lets it out or many years pass.

Yeah CRTs could easily kill a human with a discharge from its capacitors. Having an electron gun firing electrons directly at your head isnt good either.

Thanks for the advise guys. And don't worrie about us knowing what to do and where we are going. My uncle will be driving and he has 20+ years of boating experience and lives up north MI. He came here via Lake Huron, St. Clair River, Lake St. Clair. I am sure he knows what he is doing. Or at least I hope he does ;).

PS: What the hell happened to this tread ;). I have only been gone a half a day.
