1. It seems like everyone says that Cedar Point has a lot of gay employees... is this true?
2. Do any of the housing places have internet access for my own computer?
3. Is there any employee night before May 8th when the park will be open for employees? Or at least TTD ;)
4. I also need to figure out which airport I should fly into Cleveland, or Toledo... and how the heck do I get from the airport to the park?!?!?!?!?!? Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!
Ummmm.... I think that is about it... I am 21 from San Francisco Ca, love Cedar Point and Roller Coasters... I have worked for Six Flags Magic Mountain as a Human Resources Training Supervisor in the past, and am really looking forward to this summer with Cedar Point. I am gay, and if you want to know more about me, you can visit my profile.... http://www.gay.com/personals/profile/view.html?name=surferstud1982
Any other advise would be great... And I would love to make some friends before I get there, because I am kind of a shy guy. So hello to all of you, and dont be afraid to e-mail me at.... Rollercoasterstud21@msn.com
I would love to make some great Girl, and Guy Friends! Thanks Everyone! =-)

2) By phone only, you need to use your own ISP.
3) Open during park hours only. You may get a couple rides outside of that if your in the right department, or if you attend emplyee ride nights.

2. No and you won't have time for it anyhow. You can get basic dial-up from a few places.
3. Not sure, but very doubtful they'll have an employee night for TTD that early.
4. Cleveland, get on the 90 to Sandusky.

Not to mention, my trip is only 3 and a half hours total to TOL, but to Cleveland it would have been 6 hours with layovers :/...

2)(As SteelMonsters said) There is a phone jack in each room, However getting a line out is very hard at "peak hours" (That would be the few hours after everyone has gotten off of work). You do need to have you own ISP.
3)Last year they has some ride nights for the smaller rides that need people (The three car rides, dodgems, etc...) but probably not TTD that early.
4)hehehe I've done the whole fly to Cleveland from California thing. If you don't have anyone to pick you up (this year finally thank goodness) Greyhound would be my advise. Never flown into Toledo, so I can't give you that advise.
My story for two years:
Fly into CLE (That would be Cleveland Hopkins airport code) from wherever (Sacramento before, Ontario in a few days) and get a taxi to take me to the Greyhound Station, $25 for the cab alone. $14 for the ticket to Sandusky. Get a cab from the Sandusky Greyhound station to commons (no way to get there before 5PM for me) about $5. Go into housing that night, then finish processing in the next morning. It's a big hassle, but it works when you don't know anyone and your only 17 like I was my first year.
You can have housing arrange to pick you up from the greyhound station your first time arriving to the park for the season only. Set it up before you leave if possible, but it's only if they have time and they don't need all of them at that time. I really don't see a problem in them going to pick you up, but it's not a guarantee.
EDIT: Dear lords I sounded pathetic and desperate.

I doubt there would be anything like that this year since the park opens daily on the 8th, but it may still happen, you never know.

If you want to save some money, don't take a cab into downtown Cleveland. RTA (local transit) has a train that will take you downtown for $1.50. The station is right in the airport. Get off the train at Tower City Center and either transfer to the Waterfront Line to get to the Amtrak station, or get a cab or bus to take you to the Greyhound station. Greyhound is also located downtown. You can transfer to a bus or the Waterfront Line for free if you get a transfer when you pay at the airport station.
