Cedar Point typically hires a couple of seasonal employees for the maintenance department. You would most likely have to work third shift (11pm-7:30am five nights a week) as there will be returning seasonals who have experience on first and second shift. Although not an official co-op or internship job, you would still learn quite a bit and maybe even be able to gain some credit at school--that's something you would have to work out with your school though.
This past season one of my co-workers was a engineering major who wanted experience and I believe his school was giving him credit upon receiving a positive review at the end of the summer.
