Mail Boxes

Just wondering how we can pick up our mail? Does each dorm have mailboxes for each individual room?

The post office is in Cedars, which is located behind the HR department. That is where all the mail for the workers is sent to. The address is:

General Delivery

1 Cedar Point Drive

Sandusky, OH 44870

Or if you wanted you can rent a post office box there instead of having your mail sent to the general delivery.

I think the cost for mail box rental last summer was $5.00.

$5.00 is not bad. I didn't get one last year but I wish that I had. With the hours that I worked, it was hard to check my mail with the hours that the post office had.

Get the PO box! If you have to get mail the wait is not worth it!

redbrigade is right. The wait does suck when you are expecting mail. Go with the PO Box!

At the risk of sounding dumb. . .PO Boxes. . . are they at the Post Office? As in, do you have to leave CP to get your mail? (I don't get the whole PO BOX thing, being a residential mate my whole life.)

CP has a little post office at Cedars. If you don't have a box you wait outside, if you do, you walk into Cedars doorway to your box. Yes, it's on point..The boxes can only be used during the full speed of the summer. In the pre-season and after Labor Day you pick your mail up at HR (Human Resources).

Can I reserve one ahead of time?? So that I can have my mailing address BEFORE I leave.. And What Is The Address Like If You Have A Box?

Yes, you and your roomate can share a P.O. Box...You can not reserve a box ahead of time..The address will be the same as others but with P.O. Box numbers included..

You get one key. If you are sharing the same box with someone you and your roomate/friend will have one also. Some of the boxes have a combination on the door of the box.
