I was just hired today as Cedar Point's newest member of the 2004 Magnum XL-200 crew! AND I get to be the one to start the topic on Magnum! Well, isn't it just MY lucky day!

Be thankful that you got on Magnum. Its a great ride to work. I was there for the last few weeks this past summer. Magnum has one of the best crews in the park, behind the Monster Crew of course. Not to mention the TL and ATL are really great people. You'll have a great time this summer.

I had my interview about 2 weeks ago and I'm waiting for my contract to arrive anytime now. I asked for Magnum; I hope I get it! *crosses fingers*

Hey guys!

Sorry I've been so slow to post here, but I wasn't around this weekend. Anyway, congratulations to all of the people who have been assigned to Magnum so far. As Greg said, you are lucky and you'll see this summer why Magnum is one of the very best rides to work. It's fast paced, fun, and most importantly, it's a great ride! Not to mention, we won't have a huge line at closing like MF or Dragster. Magnum is my pride and joy and I hope all of you will also be proud to work on one of the best coasters ever built. Magnum has had some very good crews in the past so we have a reputation to uphold. So far, it looks like we have a great crew coming together and I can't wait until May to be at CP!

And just so you know, Jimmy's ability to pack trains is WAY better than his rapping ability! ;) Packing trains is something we'll be doing a lot of this season, along with trying to open a bit early everyday and hitting every interval. With Gemini going down to four trains, this means we have a chance to give more rides than any coaster in the park! :)

If your new to CP or if you're returning on Magnum, feel free to IM me (MDOmnis) or e-mail me (mdd2583@rit.edu) with any questions (CP or Magnum-specific) you have. Katy (TL) might be around here at some point when she's done with her move, but in the mean time, I'll answer any questions you have about the coaster that fired the first shot in the coaster wars. We have a lot of good ideas so far to make this a great summer for you and if you have any suggestions, that's cool too!
