Magnum Paint

I was at the park a couple of weeks ago and there was one train on the transfer track and no new paint on the ride. I would not count on it being painted this year.

It's been confirmed many times that Magnum is not sinking. It's even been confirmed at There website.

That, and the newspaper story is questionable as to whether it is the true source of the rumor. A former employee claimed to be the co-proprietor to it.

If you look at the Island closly it really doesn't look like it's sinking. Especially on the Pretzel Loop part.

Island, what island? I honestly thought CP was on a penninsula? Or am I wrong? Heehee! Darnit, all this packing for tomorrow is driving me insane!

I wouldn't mind seeing new paint and all, but from the sounds of it, it won't happen. Oh well, I grew up with the fading orange, so that's what I'm used to seeing :).

Back to the painting for a second...If CP really wants this thing painted, they will get it done. They certainly have the resources to do it. Question is, is it a priority and enough of an eye sore yet?

I'm thinking they probably haven't painted it due to the weather this off-season. Like Mantis of last year I betcha they'll make a push to get Magnum Painted.
