Magnum is getting old and rickity.

Diss what?

^ When I first replyed to Dylan Addicted's post, I made a typo and wrote Maggis instead of Maggie's. I thought no one noticed, but Jugga made a funny comment about it. I went back and edited it. Then Craig ^^ was implying that "Maggis" was Magnum and Mantis mixed. So when he said, "I love Magnum, but not as a stand up." I said, "Don't diss it unitl your try it." lol.

This is one of the most ridiculous threads I have seen on here. Magnum is still the best coaster in the park and it is in no way rickety. I don't understand why anyone would start a thread complaining that Magnum is old and rickety.

^ You need to understand that not everyone knows everything about coasters. For someone who doesn't know a lot, they might think that those loud noises means it is going to fall apart. I have said this before, when people are scared and they ask, "Why?" you just tell them why it does that and they will feel better. Magnum's lift does sound old and rickety. We know it's not though. Dylan Addicted didn't, and now he does. No big deal.

^ The bunny hops don't hurt me riding in the fronte. But that is just too much wind in my face. My sister also though Magnum was extrememly rough. I couldn't disagree more though. :)

The anti-rollbacks are still too loud, and Randall is just a pansy.

It's a VERY LOUD CHAINLIFT ANTIROLLBACK SYSTEM. The day before opening day, me and my friend went to ride things in challenge park (except Skyscraper) and rode ripcord, and then went over to do grand prix go-carts. When we were at the window paying for the discount with our plat.passes, the girl at the window talked to us just as magnum had a super loud train going up the hill. So basically, we could not hear a word she said to us as we were at the window. She had to repeat it then we went to do the cars!!

I hope you called the police.

Magnum's lift does not sound like every other arrow lift at all, dont most arrow coasters have anti rollbacks on all the cars? And even if they dont, the lift sounds different from Gemini, the Mine Train, and Corkscrew to me.

I believe the only reason he was keeping track was to send me text messages each day while I was at work letting me know he was riding Magnum while I was at work. :(

My apologies to Dylan who started this thread. Sorry if my last post sounded nasty. I should remember that some people have different opinions and feelings about coasters and it's ok to discuss them here. Didn't mean to come across so mean, lol. :-)

I was just at the park two days ago and my brothers and I rode Magnum 4 times that day. It was actually smoother then ever. Actually all the rides that are usually rough and jerky were smooth when we went. We even rode Mean Streak 4 times in a row, 5 times total! haha

Can't Wait!!!

I love reading these threads! Imagine what some would have thought opening year hearing the upstop plates banging the underneath of track! :)

Well if anyone cares, i was at the park on Friday and there was fog in the last tunnel. The ride ops even said that a new fog machine was installed.
