magnum hours and what will i do?

as said before i am new this year. i am working on the magnum. what are the hours like? what all will i do untill the park opens? thanks again in advance

Have seen these questions before and the answer is that we do a lot of cleaning and what not. As for the hours I understand that we are to expect 48-60 and sometime even up to 80 per week.

Hey - welcome to the crew of the best steel coaster ever built! :) Magnum is a great ride to work because it's high paced, it's a major attraction (we will give more rides than MF or Dragster), but at the same time, we usually won't have a huge line at closing so we can go home and grab a beer or sleep. :) One of the games we played in 2001 on the ride was called "Magnum Eights." The goal was to get eight trains in a row - all packed (no empty seats) while hitting all the intervals. Interval should not be a problem to hit, but packing the trains requires some serious effort sometimes. It needs to be done to beat Raptor though... ;)

During the time before the park opens, you can expect to be doing training and a whole lot of cleaning. Training will consist of company orientation for several hours and also a couple park operations videos and some on location training at Magnum. As part of your training, you should get to do a lift walk too. There might be other things involved but since my school doesn't let me out until the 23rd, I won't be at CP until the 25th.

As for hours, you're probably looking somewhere in the 40s or 50s to start out, but expect to be working at least high 60s or 70s by late July and August.
