Any idea if it is still down?

As of yesterday (sun), it was still down.

In a similar vein, a couple days ago I was reading a news story, I forget the source, reporting of an incident at Funspot in Kissamee FL. A 6 year old boy apparenty fell from the roller coaster there and suffered what they said were traumatic injuries.

At the end of the account there was an additional paragraph that mentioned "riders were recently evacuated off of the Magnum roller coaster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH after the ride came to a sudden halt."

Not sure what one has to do with the other except they are both roller coasters.

Anyway, I pray the boy recovers from his injuries.

Rumor has it, Magnum is open today.

I checked the stats recorded on queue-times and it indeed appears Magnum re-opened on the 9th. So it was down for about 8 days. I'm guessing most of that time was waiting for parts, assuming the lift motor was the issue.
