Louies has karoke on wednesdays now. it started in October and will continue this season. As for being a louies regular. I will be there. Especially after my 21st!!!

Well most definately count me in for the Karaoke! I'm going to miss singing in choir and performiing; so I need to keep going with it... I wonder if I could make a ghetto demo tape in the super-star studios?? lol That would be interesting!

I only went once. and it was during weekends so there wasn't a whole lot of ppl there. it was good. Not like BW3, but good none the less. But your right. I don't see how anything could be orderly at louies during the season. Heh. I can't wait to go back!!!

Oh yeah, drinking until I vomit or pass out sounds like a blast... While I'm at it, I might as well just hook myself up with some grungy guy I've never met before and earn myself a few interesting STDs, too. Yes, let's all get "waisted." Getting wasted is such an immature and irresponsible use of alcohol; absolutely no class to it whatsoever.

Agreed, I would much rather stay in knitting a sweater while watching "Fried Green Tomatoes."

Come on now, most people that go to that bar just like hanging out with other folks and taking the edge off. Your perception of "immature" and "class" are completely irrelevant to us un-cultured folk who enjoy hanging out without being concerned about the impending social reprecussions.

Ok i agree with the second part part of your statement. Louies is extremely conveinent. Its easy to drink and its in walking distance of commons.... The first part, not always so true i remember nights with my roommates and i dropping $50-60 and not thinking anything of it until the next day.

Good, I hope they cut down on the underage drinking. Maybe we'll be able to make it to the bar in reasonable amounts of time ;)

And how exactly did underage drinking come into this?

ok Lee you need to chill out, because just because we like to have a few drinks and dance and h ave a good time doesn't make us immature. I think that you are a very narrow minded person and need to expand your horizons before you go judging people. Furthermore, you know nothing about any of us that you speak of so don't come in here calling us immature. I guarantee that you do not want to make enemies of everyone that goes to louie's on a somewhat regular basis.

If you read my post again, you will notice that my disgust was generally directed at the idea of getting wasted, not at Louie's or at the people who choose to spend their time there in general.
If you choose to take my statement personally, it's your prerogative. (Maybe you should reexamine why you think my statement applies to you, while you're at it -- it might save you some pain and suffering later on in life, hm?)

If somebody decides to get wasted that still does not make them an immature person. I know many people who go out and party and have a good time and still go to work on time. Last summer I went to Louie's and got "wasted" at least every tuesday, thursday and sunday and I never missed work and took my job very seriously and ended the season without having any points for being late or absent. My question to you is what do you do in your social life that makes you so much more mature than us. That is if you have a social life.

Irony. Lee, this obviously isn't your thread. If you think getting drunk is socially barbaric or degenerate or whatnot that's fine, but maybe you should re-examine why you posted in a thread obviously aimed at those who don't think drinking is synonymous with STDs and irresponsibility. Most people find getting drunk occasionally with friends fun, it's that simple. It seems your personal perogative was what made you decide to post of the pain and suffering associated with the evils of getting drunk. Who's got a smoke?
