I left my camera on one of the games tables at Cedar Point when I was there this summer (July 8th,2012). I realized it was missing about an hour away from the park on the way back to Canada. It was too late to turn around and I was travelling with two 5 year olds so I figured I was screwed. On a whim, I called Cedar Point's Lost and Found department (listed on their website). They had my camera and are going to ship it back to me. This is a miracle. My faith in humanity is renewed. The camera itself could be replaced, but the expressions on those 5 year olds' faces on their first rides at CP would have been lost forever. Thank-you.
sorry to hear about your glasses. call cedar point and they will be able to tell tlyou if they were located
if you are still at the park go to the police station located on the north side of the main arcade

a few years back,my neices daughter lost/dropped her pass somewhere between the car and entrance. She got in at entrance office, Before leaving we checked at lost & found and the pass was there.
I lost a pair of inexpensive reading glasses on this years' opening day. Next visit to the park,I checked if they were turned in,no. If you go to lost and found to look for glasses, they have many, many, many. In bags marked what day they were found.

Why would you smile about someone loosing a phone. I'm sorry but that's rude. I'm sure if you lost something you would be upset too. Sarcasm or not have some sympathy...A couple of weeks ago I lost my string tied throw bag that had not only my new ihpone, but my camera, my keys to my car and house, my cousins ipod, a hoodie and other valuable things so watch what you say and have others in mind!
What's a loosing?

I believe it's what you call it when the pipes under an English toilet begin screeching...

I went to the ladies bathroom right beside the Matterhorn on July4th 2013 and the minute I went to wipe all this rain water from my eyes someone stole my Sony camera with all of the pics I took with my family during our vacation! I also had other pictures I took over the past year on it. I went to the lost and found a filed a report #, but it was never turned in. I wish they had surveillance cameras in those bathrooms! :( I don't care so much about the camera itself because it can be replaced but my personal pictures that mean so much to me can not be replaced and I don't want some random person having them! I am really upset.

That's just a touch on the illegal side and the reason why there are no cameras in there.
About mid-August of 2011 I was at Cedar Point with my school's marching band. I had been wearing an important necklace my dad bought for me the previous Christmas, and checked to make sure I had it on constantly. Last ride of the day, my group chose the Magnum. I was scared half out of my wits, and did not pay attention to my necklace. Somewhere between getting on that coaster and loading the school buses, my necklace disappeared.I cried the whole way home, and most of that night because it was gone. Would Cedar Point still have that necklace if it was found that year? It was very precious to me. I just found its box while cleaning and it brought a whole new wave of frustration and sadness. The necklace is sterling silver and shaped like the Treble Clef symbol. It's a relatively average-sized pendant, and it means a ton to me. If anyone reading this knows of this necklace, or has any advice for me, I'd appreciate it greatly. Thank you for your time.
I was on the dragster this year and this lady thought it was outrageous to leave her purse in a locker. She took it on the ride with her anyway we get to the launch area and puts it between her feet at the top of dragsters tower it fell and we cross the finish and she is cussing up a storm as she had everything in it. She walked to the ride attendant and she was pissed off the worker calmly told her they will get it at the end of the day.she was so mad and wanted to climb the fence to get well long story short she threatened the attendant and was escorted out with no purse
AmandaKay, at one time Cedar Point's policy was to keep any lost item, that look valuable, for one year. After a year, unclaimed articles were disposed of.
You should have called CP the next morning and, if found, they would have mailed it to you.
Bluestreaker, my band directors promised they'd call in that night, and when I checked with them a week later they hadn't done it. So I called, and they hadn't found anything. Thank you for responding. I have since received a necklace similar to it from my boyfriend, and it is also very important to me, but it doesn't have the same sentimental value. Again, thank you. I still regret wearing it that day, but now know better than to wear jewelry to such an eventful place.
I just lost my ipod touch with a wallet case somewhere around the dragster today. It had my state i.d. and my college i.d. in it .I just hope it wasnt taken by a pick pocket cause i pribably wouldve noticed if it fell out of my poxket on the dragster. I filed a report but well see if it turns up...
