Longest line at Cedar Point...

My brother and I waited in line 2.75 hrs for MF on AAA Preview Day back in 2000.

- Uncle Jay

2+ hours for Corkscrew and 2.5 hours for Gemini when they debuted. Later I remember a long wait for Demon Drop, then came college, grad school, kids...after a few years of occasional visits and only for the kiddies, it took me nearly a season to catch up with what most of the rest of you take for granted, and I still haven't been able to get on TTD! Anyone remember Jumbo Jets? Now my age is showing!

Myself and a friend waited a long time for dragster. It was the second to last friday in '04. we got there shortly after the park opened and went over to dragster. The ride was running fine, then after we waited for a while it broke down. Some people left the line. it started running than broke down shortly afterward. Some more people left the line. Than the rain came. Of course, the ride was shut down again and a bunch more left the line. A station full of people waited for the rain, after about an hour it was me, my friend mike, and another pointbuzzer (who's name I do not remember) sitting in the station with the rideops. I learned alot about dragster in those 4 or so hours. They called the day for dragster on account of weather. A ride manager asked us how long we had been waiting, He gave us a walk-on pass for dragster and a walk-on pass for any other coaster. although I was there for closing weekend, I kept the dragster pass a souvenier.

I remember waiting 3+ hours for the Iron Dragon when it opened. Same thing for Avalanche Run and then DT. Magnum back in the first few years it was open had to be the longest I've ever waited

The lines are long for DD because it has air conditioning.:)

That's the reason I ride it... well, most of the time.:)

Lara Croft - The Ultimate Tomb Raider!

"Wind it up!!"

4 hours for Top Thrill Dragster opening year.

3 hours for Millennium Force opening year.

45 minutes for Disaster Transport this past season. It was a rater hot day in July. I'd never wait 45 minutes for that again though.

Shortest for Top Thrill Dragster was 45 minutes. The sign said it was 30 minutes, but it had a little brakedown. 04' season.

maXair was about 45 minutes. worth it though in my opinion.

One of the stupidest things I've ever done in my life was wait nearly 12.5 (I'm not kidding) hours for the Dragster in '04. People came by throughout the day to offer us food. The ride wasn't even open, but a group consisting of about 30 people, including myself, were foolish enough to sit on the sidewalk and take turns playing Cedar Point-opoly. Suprisingly enough, it was a good time and I got to know some awesome people who were as crazy as myself. In the end, however, we never got to ride. Oh well, great memories.

TTD rides: 32
Rollbacks: still dreaming

^^^ haha, we see you guys every time it's closed. It's neat that they bring you food.

My Uncle's got me beat, 6 1/2 hours for Dragster on its opening day. I generally don't wait in long lines... I think maybe 2 hours a couple times, Disaster Transport I think I waited for at least 2 1/2 hrs when I was younger. Me and whoever I'm with (cousins or friends) usually find ways to have fun in the lines, so the lengths don't really bother me.

Quickest line, well I've walked onto rides like Blue Streak and Corkscrew a lot. Walked on to Top Thrill 4 times in one long trip (using the resort early pass things, got first ride of the day once!). Waited about 15 mins for Millennium once, that was good wait-to-value ratio :)

2008 - Games (Area 3/Scales)
2009 - Games Supervisor
2010 - Season pass holder.

We waited 6 hours on opening day. Thankfully the weather was not that bad. I had to ride it and did not mind waiting for it.
I wouldn't wait that long again, but I do not regret it that day.
