Does anyone know why long pants are not part of the CP uniform? When I worked (Sept-Oct) I think I got to use my shorts MAYBE 3x, any other time I HAD to wear my rain gear pants or the jogging suit pants-(when it was 28 degrees I had on my sweat pants/jeans/jogging pants AND rain pants on and was STILL cold!) anyway-is there any specific reason why CP doesnt have like 1 pair of long pants mandatory w/their uniforms? It seems to me they are FORCING employees to fork out for the rain gear (28.00) or the jogging pants (30.00) or basically to suffer and freeze on the days/evenings it may get alittle chilly out. I know that I even got yelled at for having on my rain gear pants WITHOUT the rain gear jacket- (some ATLS are picky) Does anyone know why they dont offer long pants? Thanks!!!

------------- Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
as an employee from cave days, let me assure you that the present raingear (purchased, yes, but then you know who has had it where!!)it a HUGE improvement. The warm-up sets I have seen seem to be a pretty good value for the money and if it is cold enough to wear them, a standard cotton work pant would not have been all that effective anyway....it was explained to me that each department decides on the uniform for their people, including details on sleeve and pant length. For example, a bellman I spoke with last year was surprised to find his uniform DID include both long pants and shorts, whereas certain locations such as fry stands can wear ONLY long pants...
