Lonesome rider

I actually always do opening weekend by myself. That way I can ride as much as I want and not have to worry about what other people want. Then throughout the year I make several trips with people I know and the urge to power ride isn't as bad. I find that i soak up the atmospher a lot more when I'm alone and in all find it very enjoyable. I have also met some very interesting people while alone.

I have gone 2 days alone this year, while it's a tough adjustment it's nice to have the alone time without really being "Alone". Both have their perks but being with someone is just better.

I really enjoy going alone. Ive asked some friends an they cant go either their working or no money and this is the first season i got a pass usually I just go once or twice a year. iVE never had so much fun at Cedar Point ive been there 37 times this year and will probably make it 39 times.

I have never gone solo, but my wife and I noticed 2 people who were riding MF solo and having a blast doing it. The one fellow who was likely in his 60s wore a bright yellow shirt that said "Cedar Point Single Rider." His friend had been overseas serving, and they each appeared to be having a great time riding solo.

I have been alone at Michigan's Adventure for like an hour before. It is nice because you can ride what you want when you want. Filling single rider holes is nice too. :)

But I got pretty lonely. Having a friend does make it a little more fun.

My philosophy on the whole thing is this: I will not let other people's "lameness" affect my having fun, Ill invite people to come with me, and gladly will go to the park with them but there is no way Ill cancel the trip if no one wants to come because going alone can be a lot of fun too.
