How big are the lockers in the commons dorms? I need to know so I can figure out what I'm bringing with me first (what I can fit into the locker) and what I bring later (things to big for the locker).

Just be a minimalist and you'll be fine.

The lockers are small.

The ones in 1400 are about 1.5 feet wide and probably 5-6 feet high. They have a shelf toward the bottom, a shelf toward the top and a rack for hangers in the middle. You will also probably get half of a dresser to put stuff in. Packing light is good advice though. You will be in your uniform most of the time anyway. Socks and underwear are the only thing you need in great quantity.

each locker (in the 1500s atleast) has 2 doors, both seem a tad bit wider than a h.s. locker.

with clothes, i was able to hang about 25-30 hangers in em.

Cedar Point turned me into a tshirt folder. :-p

Yeah they were pretty big, as James described them. I had no trouble hanging most of my shirts up. . .then the shelves were used, and my laptop stayed in the bottom, and the very lowest shelf -- that's where I threw my dirty laundry. ;) I just brought a big plastic bin with a lid to keep folded pants/shorts/sweaters in. The top shelf of the locker kept my watch, wallet, etc. overnight. It worked out well!

When I got there last year I was surprised at how big they were. I could fit nearly all my stuff in there. I thought they were huge. I was surprised to hear people saying they were small like a HS locker.
