Live Entertainment Question

I am thinking about applying for a position within live entertainment for the 2008 season, but I have a few questions I was hoping someone could answer for me. I am not professional trained in sound or lighting, but I have experience in both fields, is Cedar Point willing to hire people like that? I own a DJ company with a two partners and I have worked in theatres for the past few years, is this enough experiences to be considered for a position?

Apply and find out. I know they hire people without that much experience. What could it hurt to try?
