They are crane tracks, so the large crane can maneuver on site.

I wish I could climb up there and put a polarizing filter on that web cam. I bet it would vastly improve the effects of the glancing sun in the mornings and evenings. I do so love watching this stuff though.

Someone just gave a nice close up tour of the current action. I posted some good screen shots on the CP Rundown page just because that is an easy place to do it. They usually show up as soon as someone over there releases them.
