Line Jumper Pass

Hey All,

Been a while since I've been to CP. I remember something about a Line Jumpers pass that you could buy at gate. Is that true and how much $ is it?

You're refering to the new Partivate Tour. It's $1,500 for up to six people.

2005: CP Group Utility (Garbage Detail)
Coaster Junkie From NH
Working at MHT airport

...And you can't buy them at the gate. You must schedule them ahead of time.

What behind the scenes is there though. Its not like Magic Kingdom where the entire park is the second floor and there's an unseen first floor (the utilidors) underneath.

What exactly would you like to see? The breakroom?

I would not mind a tour, going out to the island and actually being able to look at the structure of MF and not passing it at 92 MPH

As a past employee with access to behind the scenes, I can honestly say there ain't much to it. It's really not that exciting. But, if I were to say one behind the scenes, employee only area that is to die for, I'd have to say the extremely cheap employee cafeteria. Get an entire meal for $3.00 !

Ya, I want to get a behind the scenes tour at Conneaut Lake Park so I can go under Blue Streak and look for my digital camera. :(

Behind the scenes tours would be something like seeing the controls of major rides. How they are run. TTD engine room. Maintanence shop, things like that.

I love that Knott's did it the last time there. I took the tour of Montezuma's Revenge, Ghostrider and Excelerator. Everyone loved it.

It would be something they could include with the VIP package, being a small group.

Magnum Candy Man understands what I mean. I think it would be cool to have a CP & LE RR tour too. It too has a lot of history, and is one of the only daily operating, coal powered, steam train railroads still in operation in the US.

Isn't Disney's coal powered? or did they switch to Diesel? It would be cool to get an upclose tour of those though. And the train yard (wherever they're stored).

The only problem with getting tours of the TTD room and what not is I'm pretty sure, if the ride is open, the room is a lock-out (no-one in). I could see maybe doing stuff before the park opens, like 8 am or something though.

No, they're diesel-powered. I went on the Behind the Scenes tour of the railroad at Disney a few years ago. It was before the park opened, and they showed the ins and outs of everything.

It was cool to actually get to see all 4 locomotives next to eachother, and the pictures I got of no one on Main Street except the park's General Manager was worth the entire $30.

I was able to goto Cedar Point during the off-season on what you may call a "behind the scenes" tour. If I remember correctly, it was for the society of manufacturing and enginering and it was sposered by Lorian County Community College.

We were taken to Wicked Twister, Raptor, Top Thrill Dragster, Gemini, and the MaXair construction site. I took alot of pictures, from many diffrent places, and my favorite part was all the stuff for Top Thrill Dragster. I would post a link to some of them, but I have read that some things from dragster could be "top secret" , but I am not really sure. If anyone wants to see them though, I guess I dont really have a problem with it, so just PM me.
