I know you've heard them and maybe a few of us have said them (like me) These are some of the stupidest/funniest things you ever hear people say at CP.
My favorite: "Mom look that yellow things (WT) track fell down and the coasters going to fly off"
2nd favorite: While waiting for TTD someone said "Look the track is on fire" and someone else goes "Yah it's smoking pretty bad" and everone turns to look.
Sorry if topic is recycled! Think Green!
edited for extra it

First Top Thrill Dragster train of 2011!
Rollbacks: 1st Triple Rollback of 2009!
I think he means the smoke that sometimes comes off the track..i have a pic somewhere, but i think thats what he means...
I have one, but not from Cedar Point it was"Dad look the griffons trains are stuck at the top again!"
Refering to the holding brake.
My favorite thing that I've heard while at the Point was that Cedar Point should build a coaster that goes straight up and straight back down. :)
Millennium Force
The Future is Riding On It.
"Millennium was added to be the tenth wonder of the world in 1999." Whoo man bout pissed him self when he heard this. ;)

At least they got the year right...
The first halloweekends saturday night we were in MF's station and the ride's cable got stuck. As we were waiting in the station, Bob the single rider man told us that he rode MF 84 times that night. We believed him, but it was still funny anyway....
In line for DT on the steps, these two boys behind me were asking me why they needed 3D glasses. I said you use them for the line. Then they went on to say that they hoped that there is a ride coming up, so that they would be mad if the building was just for standing around in untill the end....:) It was the funniest thing that I'd ever heard in a while!
I've overheard someone swear up and down that MF had a loop. I also think it's funny when people freak out because a coaster gets stuck on a lift.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
The best one I heard was when Maverick first opened and waiting in the line is ("After this lets go on White Water Landing and her friend said it is not here anymore and then she said why did they close it and where did it use to be."

I really hope you weren't serious.

The easiest way to prove it would have been to look for 84 injured people strewn about the midway between MF's exit and entrance.
Best one I heard was near the Corkscrew exit. The sign was set to "1/4 hour from this point." And some teeny bopper (who no doubt will become a politician) said, and I quote, "Look, its only a 25 minute wait."
2nd best was from a screamster. "I don't come to McDonalds and scream at you while you work."
Goodbye MrScott

I do that for funny hahaha's sometimes. I'll get to the entrance, some poor bored ride op is sitting there, and I'll crack the 25 minute joke. It either makes them smile or laugh a little thinking I might be serious.

My friend said that at the Corkscrew a year or two ago. It would be funny if it was the same one you heard. We never let him hear the end of it lol
I heard that so many times while working entrance at Power Tower. You wouldn't believe how many people think 1/4 hour = 25 min.
Its common though. People say to themselves one quater of an hour and that makes them think of an actuall quarter. thats where the 25 comes from. I'v caught myself saying it sometimes.

No Mille opened in 2000.
Let's Get Weird.
"So from right here, it's 45 min. but up there it's only like 20 min., right?"
While working entrance...
What i meant was they released it in 1999 like the ride info was released in 99 and built for 2000...i know it openen in 2000 why would the call it Millennium Force?
"Derp! I'm a coaster enthusiast with a season pass (flashes cards) so I know all of these so-called "facts" you're spewing are wrong. HA!"
PS: I rode the Magnum XL200 in 1982, true story.
I 've heard alot of people in line/watching Dragster ask each other things like "OMG are they okay??!" whenever a rollback occurs. They even say it multiple times after they've clearly seen that its perfectly normal.
