In my opinion, I doubt we'll see anything over 500 feet in the Roller Coaster world. Not in this decade anyway. I completely agree with the guy who said something similar to me. I don't know much about Physics here, but I can tell you that you would have to make the footers as big as the Key building in Cleveland Ohio. I know I might be getting carried away with that comment, but it would be close to the foundation of that. Plus the drop, and the hills and turns would be just as expensive as the lift hill. With the price of gas being what it is right now, I don't see Cedar Point breaking the 500 mark anytime soon.
