Lights in the station

I'm curious though how much "brighter" the ride will be once GW, and the surrounding area is lit up at night. It looks really good now quite possibly because nothing else is really lit around it. I'm not saying that it won't look good once the park opens, I'm just saying that I don't think it will stand out as much because of all the extra lighting.

I was just thinking, but couldn't they possibly do something like the lights on Raptor's cobra roll? When the train is on the spike, have the lights that are on that spike strobe, and then stop when the train leaves that spike.

Perhaps I'm alone on this but is anyone else not too thrilled about the lighting method for WT? Maybe the park cams don't do it justice, but I think they could have thought of something a little more creative.

I think it's just that the park cams dont' do the justice. I noticed when MF was lit up in December, you could only see the lights on the ground and not too much or no light on the towers. I think the cameras show the images a little darker than they really are.

Yeah Flisk that's exactly what I was gonna say. There were a lot of nights last year when I really wanted to see MF lit up on the webcam and I could hardly tell that it was lit up at all. So I would expect WT's lighting to turn out just fine.

Also, I was thinking the same thing about the strobe effect up the towers, like Raptor's cobra roll. If that was the case, then we would be missing a huge part of the lighting scheme by just looking at the webcam...

Well...The lighting doesn't look all that bad and like everyone is saying, the cameras probably don't do us justice to how bright the lights really are...and the area will be lit up a little better with Giant Wheel going...But what I'm worried about is all that light coming from Disaster Transport...It's definatly the brightest ride in the park and it might interfere with the enjoyability of WT...lol... ;) But seriously, I think the lighting will be fine and when everyone gets back from opening day, they can head over here and post what the lighting is really like...we need to give it a chance first...I'm sure everything has been worked out to make this ride look enjoyable early in the morning, in the afternoon, or at night
