Lights in the station

There are some very bright lights turned on in the station. Seems like the ride is getting light up more and more.

I noticed the lights were on well after dark last night also.

Yeah me too. Maybe this will be an everynight thing for us to look at. Maybe next week we'll get tower lights. :)

I just looked (around 9:15) and there are lights, but you can see the train isn't hanging where it normally is. Perhaps some after dark testing?

I think the train has been moved up some. It hasnt' been in view for awhile tonight. Although they could be teaching maintenance at night how to operate and fix it.

Speaking of testing, why are they trying to hide it from us? It's not likes it's a big secret or anything......

No one did, but it would be nice to see a diary entry about it or maybe some pics. :)

There may be a diary entry, but I have to wonder if there will be any pics until after the park has its media day. Someone correct my memory if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is a new concept. It has been pretty standard for new rides for a while. It was 2000 when Millennium Force opened the weekend before media day for the basket people and AAA. But you didn't see video or pics until after media day.

Those of us who were invited to media day were indeed asked to hold images until the event.

I think you'll see the lights on in the station regardless from now on, simply for security reasons. Seasonals are processing in, the ride is live the park's activity is getting more and more intense.

I just thought of how neat it will be to fly up into the air twisting at night in the pitch dark!
Jeff, you're right about those images. That's for sure. :-(
I beleive the towers are lit with spotlights mounted on the station. I noticed being able to see most of the forward tower and then after Midnight or so the lights are off outside the station adn you no longer are able to see the towers. However the station lights are on, of course as someone already mentioned, for security.

Wow, even more have been added. A small spotlight from the ground is shining on a part of the track
Wow! All lighting is finished! The whole ride is lite. It looks great.
WOW!! Sweet!

Yeah, it looks pretty tight. One thing that I like about the lighting is that the really intense light doesn't go much higher than the supported portion of the towers. This will make for some very eeire night rides...especially if there are no clouds. In the front seat, the stars spinning will look pretty wicked! :)
