Yet another thing that's "free" at most less expensive hotels in the area.

The Cedar Point Resorts are really lagging behind in this. It really doesn't say much when I can go to some inexpensive motel and pay $49 per night and get free Wi-Fi or I can pay $250 per night at Breakers or $80 at Camper Village and not have it.
Yes, but that is hardly laying on your bed in your room, flipping channels while checking on your laptop to see what the weather is going to be.
Something you CAN do in about 99% of urban area hotels and at a far lower price. I realize that most of what you are paying for is location, but is it so wrong to expect them to include basics with their rooms?

Do you know if there is WiFi at Breaker's Express? Also, is there WiFi in any designated area's at the park?

An inverted coaster is like a ski lift gone haywire!!
There is supposed to be WiFi in Donut Time, but it seems to be down alot.... and as said previously... there is WiFi in the Breakers Lobby.

Which is nowhere near Breakers Express. ;)

That's ridiculous that Lighthouse Point does not have wi-fi. You'd think the outrageous price per night there would cover more amenities including wi-fi. Is there any other way of getting Internet at Lighthouse Point besides wi-fi or a mobile broadband card?
Running a CAT5 cable from your laptop to the Camper Village Reservations Office... That's the closest hardwired network connection that I can think of....

There are some basic amenities that a resort of Cedar Point's caliber should be offering especially for the price. Wi-Fi is not too much to ask. I do usually have to stay connected to the outside world even when Im on vacation and having to walk from Camper Village to the Breakers lobby is a real pain. Did Sandcastle get Wi-Fi during their renovation? If not, what was CP thinking?
I stay at LHP for 4 days every May, without Internet access!
I'm fine!
It was nice to actually be "unconnected" for a few days, and to actually enjoy myself without the help of the Internet.
I don't feel the need to be connected myself, but I think the point that people are making is that for what you pay, it should be available.
They said hotel booking is down this year, and it looks like the value proposition has finally swung away from "100% booked anyway" at this point.

I've been trying to get a cabin at LHP for next week.
The resort is 100% sold out on the dates I wanted.
Although I do come to this site quite often, I don't use the internet for much else. So if I had to go without a computer for the duration of my vacation, I wouldn't mind. I think it sorta sad how much the world today relies on technology.
