Lighthouse Point General Store prices

I was wondering if they are reasonable and what they have for sale.

Also, what is a good place in Sandusky to buy Hotdogs and Hamburgers. I am going to have to try that grill out at the cabin.:)

I don't recall the prices being entirely unreasonable in the General Store, but I can't give you any specifics. You're probably better off buying what you need at Meijer in town.

Meijer is definitely cheaper, and the better place to go.

We save the general store for when we forget or run out of stuff.

Meijer, or if you're feeling like that, Wal-Mart.

Wal-mart may have the lowest prices on paper, but that doesn't factor in the cost of your soul.

Hence the "if you're feeling like that." I wasn't trying to advocate Wal-Mart, just stating that they're there.

Personally, I kinda like Meijer. My only complaint is that the Commerce Wal-Mart is way cooler than the Commerce Meijer.

Don't forget about Target, next to the mall. Closer to the Point than Meijer and you won't have to sell your soul if going to Wal Mart.

Target, while good for General Merchandise, is usually a bit more expensive in regards to groceries.

And I don't know if they sell fermented hops and malt.

The Target closest to my house just started selling bottles last year, but I don't recall seeing cases just yet.
