Lifeguards at Soak City

I'm going to be a lifeguard at Sock City this year with my best friend. we were wondering what color shoes we need. Also, how many hours a week do you work. And what there is to do at night and weekends around cedar point. Also, is the housing really as bad as everyone says?

I think they generally wear crocs, but there are a few people here who should be able to say for sure.

I've only seen Crocs, not sure on hours though. In terms of nights/weekends, there are some bars one in particular right by housing. Cleveland is only 1 hr away, so there is the Rock Hall, Indians games, Science Center. Housing can be bad just depends on what part you live in.

sock city... i think you mean soak city. they wear crocks. housing is as bad as you make it - for most people it's not bad at all. keep your stuff clean, don't have a negative outlook - you'll be fine - you're hardly in your room anyhow. theres always something to do - movies, dinner, louies, etc. etc.

Literally you come back from work and normally crash, I remember back in '08 at the dirty bird, i would come back to my room in commons turn on the TV next thing i knew it was 4 am I'm still in my ride op uniform and the tv and lights are still on, you are there to sleep basically because when you wake up you are out the door for work again.

Anyway im gonna be a lifeguard too and the only thing scaring me is i have a thigh tatt. As you can see in my Facebook pofile picture. Im not sure about the lifeguard uniform but i know we wear one piece baithing suits and shorts. Will the sorts cover my tatts or should i find bandages to cover it?
