Lifeguarding Training/Test

Is it hard? I'm not quite sure what to expect. I'm sorta fearing that I wont be able to do some of the required swimming stuff. Can anyone with past experience give me some confidence and tell me what i should expect?

what you have to be able to do in swim 50 meters...tread water for 2 mins.. and be able to swim to the bottom of the pool and pick up a 20 lb weight and carry is above your head and bring it back to the edge of the pool...all of thhis is nothing if you've been certified by the Red Cross...the red cross test you have to swim 300 meters and dive down 12 feet and pick up a 15 lb weight and swim it back...

so if you've passed the red cross test you'll have no prob passing the one for CP

uhhh thats for red cross ellis is different, since your going to be at castaway you will be shallow water trained. Believe me that you will be able to handle it, you have my sn if you have more questions. Its not hard, there very little swimming and deep water training needed.
