Honestly, it depends on where you're at. Each crew is different. East and West crews are by far much easier in terms of what you do, you guard water no deeper than I think 3 or 4ft. A lot of slides and lazy rivers and kid things. Wave/Beach is a different story. Be prepared to walk miles upon miles every day and when it's busy you will have hundreds and hundreds of people bumping into eachother in the wave pool in 8ft deep water when the waves get going. As for money, yes, if you make it to beach/wave crew you will average somewhere in the 50's and 60's a week for wave and up to 80 on beach.
