Lifeguard Certification Test?

I got hired for lifeguarding at soak city this summer but ive never life guarded before! I consider myself a decent swimmer, but id like to know whats on the test so that i can maybe practice a bit or condition. Whats the training process like & what do you have to do for the test? Thanks:]

pretty simple, we are certified under ellis and associates. The classes are three days long and involve learning how to do cpr, rescue breathing, water rescue, aed, spinal extractions among other things. Its a class based on team building and repitition so that when something does happen you dont have to think. The instructors are some of the best there are and Its pretty easy if you pay attention.

Theres two types of certs, Shallow water(pools up to 4 feet deep) and special facilities(4 feet and up) Most will be certified at shallow unless working wave crew or beach crew. The test for special facilities requires swimming a little longer and treading water which I found to be easy and Im not the most inshape guy
