Lifeguading questions

Hey guys! I'm interested in lifeguarding at Cedar Point next summer. I'm a former guard for another Ellis facility, so I know the basics of how this goes down. I have some questions about lifeguarding in Soak City, though.

1) How often does Ellis audit you during the summer?
2) How many VATs can you fail before you get fired? I failed two at my old facility, but fixed the problems I was having with my scanning. I know some places only give you one chance, though.
3) How many hours do you work a week?
4) Are the Soak City guards also responsible for guarding the pools at Hotel Breakers and the beach, or are they separate?
5) This is more just curiosity rather than a real question about employment, but seriously... How does activating the EAP work in such a big park? Mine was relatively small, and inside, so if the person blew their whistle loud enough, you could hear it from anywhere in the park. It seems like it would be a lot more difficult and complicated as far as who responds and stuff the bigger the park is, though.

Thank you! I really love lifeguarding, but I'm pretty positive working at Soak City would be a lot more intense than my facility was.

1, 4 or more times usually.
2, This honestly shouldn't be a concern for you, you should never Miss any. especially being a experienced Ellis guard. There is no way to say for sure, just depends.
3, 6 days a week around 10 hours days or more.
4, theres Soak city guard and then Beach Guards. Beach guards usually guard the hotel pools and beach. Though Soak city guards can help out on the beach from time to time to get more hours because Beach guards generally get a lot more hours than Soak city guards.
5, The EAP works much like anywhere else, except with a bigger area you have zones and areas. It will all be gone through many, many times and you will have no problem understanding how to react to a big park.

A side note, if your worried about being in such a big park and being overwhelming. Maybe consider being a beach guard where its a little bit less hectic.
