I would think that it would be much more fun to be in rides (or coasters actually), than in merchandise or foods. Am I wrong? Is it fun to work in foods and merchandise at Cedar Point?
I am never going to be working at Cedar Point. I was just curious. I would think that I would not want to be living away from home an entire summer, working a job I couldn't stand.
I worked at Toys R Us for three holiday seasons. I could not imagine living there. lol. At the same time, I bet it would be pretty awesome to ride coasters on your day off.
But from what I heard, you work a lot of hours. And on your days off you are eathier too exhausted, or have too much to do like laundry or something. Leaving you with not much time to actually enjoy the park.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
Your crew really determines how much fun you have, not your work location. If you have a fun crew and get along with them, you're going to have a fun summer no matter where you are working.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I always have fun working at Cedar Point and I love the hours I get. I seriously love O-C's. I worked 12 straight when I worked the train on 07 as ATL because no one else wanted the o-c's. So, I had lots of fun working o-c's! I hope I get a lot of them this season too! And I never get tired of being in the park. And the night life makes up for working all the time. I can't wait to meet new people and hang out with my crew.
I hope I actually get crew shirts and what not. 06 our shirts were never ordered and Kim took all our money and never gave it back.
CP&LE Railroad will always be my favorite ride!
