Lego Demon Drop

Honestly, I'm unlikely to ever try and build a sellable copy of this model. It takes a LOT of effort to put something like that together, and unless I get a pretty substantial downpayment to fund the brick purchases, it won't happen.

I've seen a Lego coaster built before, so I'm unlikely to go that way. I like to build stuff that no one's tried before.

I know about the Handyboard, and other programming languages to run Mindstorms systems. I would, actually, rather prefer to just stick with the parts the Lego makes. In fact, the only thing in this model that isn't 100% Lego is the string that is used on the elevator, because Lego doesn't make string long enough. I'm sort of a pseudo-Lego-purist that way :)

Come on people, this poetry's not going to appreciate itself!

I, too, have to chime in and say "that model is totally bangarang!"

And I thought the original K'nex coaster was cool.

Man I remember back in the day when I used to build with my legos. I never really made anything good though. I just use K'nex anymore. I'm in the process of building a really good mousetrap powered car.

Snake River Falls 03 (newbie)

Gotta show this to my wife. She has no room to complain about the computer work area.....

Pretty cool hobby.....

sooo, do you plan on another drop ride or something? maybe a S&S turbo drop or space shot? that would be pretty interesting, but i don't know if it is possible...
