LeBron James booted from TTD queue Monday??? You b

He should of at least paid extra for the little VIP treatment he received. It would only be fair.....but yet again, nothing is ever fair.

Good for them. Excellent work by the park. There's not much more nauseating than spoiled brats. -- Harley

LOL!!!!

I think the right word would be "Possie" ;-)

I'm sooooooooo sick of hearing about LeBron! You'd think he's the next best thing since sliced bread! It really irks me how they treat him like a "God" and put him up on this pedestal. It's not like he has a real job or anything! It will be interesting to see how this kid pans out (or doesn't).

Man what the hell would you do if you had that kind of talent? Get a real job? C'mon, have you ever seen him play? It is amazing. We'll see if it is worth 90 mil or not but he is definately all star material.

If you got beef then, eat a pork chop.

So what would have happened if he waited in line? The ten or twenty people who cared would have gotten their autographs or photos or whatever....who cares? They are just human beings. The thrill would have quickly worn off. I have waited on people just like him over the years and the majority of them are groomed to be spoiled brats. The actual atheletes are not the problem, its the people who surround them that insist that they are better than everyone else that cause the problems. I have waited on a lot of "Famous Folks" and atheletes(and their entourages) are notoriously the worst. I won't argue this, it is the truth.

:i know we are all entitled to our opinions but...:

every board I go to people are bashing this dude and I fiind it quite silly. For all the people who are so sick of hearing about him, we sure talk about him a whole bunch. Kinda pointless if you ask me.

I dont think that anyone deserves 90 mil. All pro athletes(sp) are way over paid and even worse when they go on strike because they say that they are not making enough. that is pretty sad being as that many people work much harder then them and get practally nothing for things that matter way more then professional sports.

Jeff hit it on the head..I will take it a step further. We pay money to be a guest at Cedar Point. Cedar Point can do whatever they want, for what ever reason they want. (riots, maybe they just like the guy) They own the park. It's not like they do it everyday, every hour. Sure, it feels unfair. When you own the deed you can do whatever you want. :)

...and to add to that statement by Freaky. Cedar Point is like a club. You pay for your admission (ala membership) and you get benefits. Sometimes you don't like what Cedar Point ("the club") does, but you are still a guest ("member").

And really, what has the park done that has really crapped on your day?

Well I am going to be a senior at Ottawa Glandorf high School and had the pleasure of watching him play. Our school hates the kid...I' m glad to see him finally be treated as a real person. Ejector205, did you happen to notice are students cheers that were well... possibly obscene to see at a HS game. WE WERE WINNING FOR A WHILE...LOL

Um.... "high school?!??!"
WHAT...

I am in high school, is there a problem.

Well, there are a few spelling errors in your post. Senir - Senior; Are - Our (I can't believe you did this twice); obsine - obscene. And I guess you didn't read the rest of the thread because from what I've read he was escorted to the front, not kicked out.

What IS the air-speed velocity of an African swallow?

When I was at WDW we had a lot of "famous" people come around. From expereince I can tell you that it was far better for them to be escorted through the parks and onto rides through backstage areas then for them to explore on their own.

As soon as a "famous" person is discovered wandering around there is a mob of people and suddenly the park experience isn't good for the celebrity or the mob.

Lebron James is already one of the most recognizable figures in sports and he hasn't played a day of pro ball.

Remember something else, it isn't like there are multiple celebrities at the parks on any given day. At WDW, I could probably count less than 30 "famous", crowd-stopping celebrities that I ran across in the time I was there. Cedar Point gets less than that.

If you were inconvenienced one time for 10 minutes or so then I hardly think that is significant if it prevented a really riotous situation.
