last ride

Which ride is your favorite to end the day with? I haven't been to CP in about eight years and am trying to decide between MF, TTD, and Maverick. Are any of the late night lines more fun than the others?

I always end my day with dragster. I some how always manage to get off the ride like two minutes before close and just have to run back in line for one last ride. During halloweekends (saturday) I marathoned 6 rides in just over an hour (not including mechanical dificulties on my last ride were we sat on the launch for 10minutes, then to be launched without lights and sounds)

The late-night line at Magnum used to be a blast, when it was actually a decent wait ;) Still an incredible night ride though. I love Millie and Raptor too.

Maverick or MF are be great last night rides. If you wait in line after the park closes, you can walk through the park after the ride and see how empty the park is; which is kind of relaxing.

I usually end the day with Raptor. Doesn't seem like the line is as long when we are leaving the park at 5 p.m. (although I know it stays open later than that, my bf only has 1 day off a week and needs his sleep).

I usually try to end with Blue Streak or Disaster Transport. I'm generally near the front of the park as closing time approaches, and those are close by.

I always end my day with a couple of rides on MF. If you get there an hour before closing you can get a good 2 or 3 rides in.

I try to get MF or TTD half an hour before close and then end my night with Magnum.

Agree with Vince, all three are great picks. MF and Magnum because they're just awesome at night, TTD because if there's a line all day it doesn't eat away your ride time to jump in at 10 till close. Magnum with a full moon, when you get towards the end of the run and that's the only light, is really great.

Millennium or Raptor by far. I ended my last ride of the 2008 season with Mantis and that was a good one too in the dusk I mean IF you're a fan of it :)

While not a very appreciated ride, Mean Streak is very pretty at dusk. So is Maverick because of their location.

pfft! i look for the shortest lines. but, i do like to hit dragster late (for the nighttime view and the lines aren't as bad as daytime), raptor because it's heading towards the car, magnum, and wicked twister.

I can honestly say i have never had a night ride on anything in the park. I am usually there toward opening day and in August when they close at 8.

MF once sometime between 9:15-9:30 followed by my Magnum marathon. Only way to end a day at CP ;).

I always end the day with whichever coaster has the longest line. Usually MF, TTD or Maverick. Get in line right at closing time and stand in line on their time. I remember riding TTD for the first time at closing time. It had just opened and the park closed at 8. The wait was 3 and a half hours. No way was I gonna waste valuable park time waiting so we got in line at 8 and were walking out the front gate at midnight.

My first ride last year was the Raptor and I ended my season with the Demon Drop!

I am almost always parked in Breakers so I tend to end with Magnum. If I am at the front it is often Wicked Twister.

If it is between the 3 noted I would recommend any of them but I do love MF at night. Magnum is also pretty neat at night. The line for TTD is almost non existant at night too which is a bonus.
