Last Paychek

My last day was August 31st. I would think I would have my last paycheck by now, but I have not received it nor my bonus check. Anyone know why this may be?

It can take up to a month to get the last check -- give it a couple more weeks!

My last day was 8-26, I got my last check yesterday so yours should be arround very soon, Still waiting for my bonus though lol

The last check is cut the week after you process out. It then has to be sent to HR, who will send it to you once you have been cleared of all charges on your termination checklist. The bonus check can take 3-4 weeks or so. Depending on whether your manager termed you out of the computer system right away, and how many other bonus checks payroll has to work with at the time.If your manager did your Term right away then it will take about 3 to 4 weeks. If they didn't.. it could take longer. Your last paycheck will probably arrive soon and your bonus check will most likely be another week or more. If you haven't received either one of them in the next two weeks I would definatley call HR

My last day was Sept.10 so I guess I will have to wait for my last check and bonus. It seems that those last 2 checks come home at different times every year.

Good news. My last paycheck came right after I typed my post yesterday. Now all I need is my bonus. Yiiiippppeeeee!!!!!

I recieved both my last paycheck and bonus today, in the same envelope! I guess they waited to send them together.
It seems they are also taking a lot more taxes out this year from the bonus.

Hey there Gang what is up..... Jenn of course is right about the checks....sometimes it took a while for people's Term Check Lists to arrive at HR or becasue some people dont return everything they should..... it is always good if you owe money to your dept or to wardrobe if you can to pay it as you check out..... that way you are all cleared and so money doesnt have to be taken out of your check......because if it doesnt get put into the computer to be deducted before you last check is printed HR has to send your check back.... and if things are still done like when I was in HR this summer we would get checks in our office on either friday or saturday from your depts and then we would check to make sure you are cleared and checks went out in Monday's mail.
