I entered the park around 10:30 with my group. We rode the Raptor first, I loved it. It was great to have one of my favorite rides right at the entrance. After going on smaller rides like the Blue Streak, we headed over to the WT. While walking we noticed that one of the most fun flat rides was down (not maXair), Chaos. We got over it and walked to the entrance of WT. We painfully watched as the train slowly moved backwords (another breakdown). It luckily opened later that day. We then decided to ride the Power Tower. It was my sister's first time and she loved it. After that, the day was very disorganized with us running through the park seeing which lines had the shortest waits. We walked past the MF alot hoping that the line would be shorter but it never did get short. We were thinking of going on at night with only an hour wait but half of my party didn't want to stand in line that long :(. It would have been fun riding it again but I guess it's tough luck. Near the end of the day we decided to ride the Raptor again. As we were about to walk out, I finished the day with a ride on the Demon Drop, the only thrill ride I hadn't been on at Cedar Point my whole life. It was so much better than I expected. All in all I had a fun day.

As of October 30, 2005, I have rode EVERY thrill ride at cedar point! Begining with the Raptor and ending with the Demon Drop.
We hit Raptor 3 or 4 times right at opening with no wait more than maybe 3 trains tops. A friend of mine who refused to ride the last couple times we've gone (he claims to not like the 'droppy' feeling) finally rode. He loved it. Suprisingly we got him on Blue Streak too.
Also noticed WT (WW is Witches Wheel) wasn't running. My friend Maggie went to ride it Saturday and they waited an hour, got strapped in, checked and then it broke down. So they wasted time for nothing.
I never got to DD this trip, even though it was on my "agenda". We always go in by Magnum, so I have to conciously make myself go all the way to the front. Never did do a haunted house either, lines always seemed longer than is worth it. We did however take 90 minutes Saturday night (or at least me and the wife) to go check out the Trio of Terror, and that was definitely worth it. Especially listening to the fright zone skull while waiting.
Anyway, good report, sounds like you guys had a good day at the point.
Goodbye MrScott
John
