Last Day For On Point Blog

I hope it's a prank. Yes twitter and facebook are great, but they aren't a blog. Watching them say things like "it's a great day at the park", "great day to shoot the rapids", "loves watching millennium zoom through the park", etc., etc. just aren't nearly as informative as page long updates.

^Totally agree. There's just something to be said about an in-depth blog as opposed to a one-line twitter update. However, if you take a look through the blog archives, it definetly isn't what it used to be.

Here's a thought. What if they really are ending the blog, and they decided to announce it on April 1st because so many people would assume it was merely a prank? But the prank would be that, in reality, they actually are ending the blog?

I think, all and all, if this ends up being true, it was idiotic to have announced it on April 1st. So sue me if that's overreacting.

I have to agree with you Kyle2154. I have a feeling it was all a prank, but I guess we'll really find out if they totally take it off the website. I wish Tony would confirm this because I like seeing what's going on with Cedar Point both on and off season.

I guess World of Fun was the exception to the cutbacks. :rolls eyes

What's the big deal and time issue about posting one or two messages a week? They could get an intern to do this for crying out loud! I still think it's a joke, but am surprised they did not announce today that is was a joke.

One thing I just noticed on the blog that leads me to believe it was just a joke, is it still says "Next entry - coming soon"

Worry No More

Yes yesterday they announced that On-point is back. I really fell for that too, because I felt like the blog is part of my website checks everyday. If that was gone, I don't know what I'd do. Probably bring up old forms from a year ago on here. I don't do that often, but sometimes. So I'd like to say to Tony & Tyler now, that was a good joke. You got me on that one. :)

I think it took all of us for a surprise,but i had a feeeling it was not true,good ole april fool joke,hehehe.

Never trust anything posted on April 1st. CP & LE RR board was pulled down on April 1st and brought back up on April 2nd to keep people from doing the same.

Aww even the Thank You was an april fools joke! ;)

Bill, I think the CPlerr.com board issue on April 1st was more of me working on the server than stopping April Fools :)
