You know it's a bad day when the Interactive Marketing guy doesn't have time to do any interactive marketing.

That blows. I really like the blog. I don't think it takes THAT much time to type a quick update and maybe post a link.
I hope they will continue the facebook and twitter updates.
I'm thinking it's an April Fool's joke, atleast I hope that's what it is.
Cedar Point X
Can't Wait!!!
Oh! Dang man, I was actually really kinda upset about that. I went to fill up my water thinking "man, wtf, the blog's been going for like 4 years, it takes so little time to appease so many!"
Then I thought...wait a minute...
I know, ironically, my wife and I were discussing how to post that she is "expecting" again on facebook to trick everyone. I stop texting her, check this, hear that the blog is going down, and don't even realize it's being done to me.
Even April 1st aside, if Tony wanted to stop doing the blog, someone else would pick it up. Cedar Point would not let this form of Marketing go.
Kyle, I was thinking of the doing the same thing. But I thought it wouldn't go over too well with my husband, since he has been in Korea for the last 3 months. lol.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"

You are apparently unaware of DK's micromanaging fear of technology.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tony and Tyler had to put together an hour long presentation to show how the blog would help the company AND not cut into their other duties just to get DK to sign off on it.
Then again, they could have probably just started doing it and he wouldn't know about it because its on that new fangled interwebs thingy.
Goodbye MrScott

Here's to hoping its a prank, however KI ended their 5@5 fourm yesterday, so maybe it isn't a coincidence. Perhaps CF is eliminating some of their marketing department.
I thought people were speculating at kingsislandcentral.com that, that was a prank as well.

Actually that is the opposite of what would happen.
Looooooonnnnng ago, and oh so far away... I fell in love with youuuuu :) hahaThis has gotta be a prank. I'd say the blog is a core responsibility for the two of them.
^Tyler is the Director of Sales at CP, so I'd say this is a secondary responsibility for him. ;)
