Land of Confusion

Not to fully derail this conversation, but the obsolescence of the Cedar Point app is also confusing me. I bought a Gold Pass in August, basically right when they went on sale for 2026, and used it that month. My pass was loaded into the app. But now that they've migrated into the Six Flags app, it has seemingly lost all records of my 2026 pass. I'll need to look into how to get back up to speed, but curious if anyone has bridged this gap yet.

EDIT: Disregard. I just now logged in to the app again, and it has migrated my Cedar Point pass over. Never a doubt. Nothing to see here. Back to commentary on the bizarre pass offerings based on home park and timeline. :)

Thanks for the reminder that there is a new app. I just downloaded it and held my breath; thankfully everything transferred just fine.

Also, this happened today:

Curious to watch if this remains sold out, or if it comes back in a "Super Illustrious Prestigious VIP Sale" in late March for $799". Just to piss people off.

Interestingly enough you can still buy the all season fast lane from the other regions on a Prestige Pass that still includes Cedar Point.

My account issues from the initial rollout of the new Six Flags app and website are resolved, and I’m happy with how it’s working now.

I was never a fan of the legacy Cedar Fair apps; having to download and log into a separate app for every single park was irritating.

Interesting about the All-Season Fastlane sellout. I was considering getting it, so now I'm presented with an alternate option. Since I know I will be visiting Six Flags over Georgia in April, I could potentially get a whole new Prestige pass there, get that park All-Season Fastlane, which combined is actually quite a but less than the All-Season at CP would have been. It seems kind of crazy to get a whole new pass though, and I would prefer to keep CP as my home park. Do you have to have entered the park with the pass the Fastlane is connected to in order to redeem an All-Season Fastlane?

Between all these pricing inconsistencies and the reputation of CF/SF IT and entitlements, I can't wait to see the lines at Guest Services when parks begin to open in the spring. The people that are going to be working in those spots probably deserve a raise already!
