Because her daddy's a coaster junkie, Ava's already been on some fairly serious coasters, like Phoenix and Twister at Knoebels, not to mention Disneyland's Space Mountain. She's apparently inherited the enthusiast gene. Everything we see, she wants to ride. The only thing at CP she doesn't want to ride is TTD, and it's not due to the height or the speed, it's due to how loud it is at the launch.

^ Loud from the speakers, or the actual mechanics of the launch? I always thought the mechanics of the launch were louder on Wicked Twister. But, I could be wrong too. I love sounds like that. :)
The speakers. The sound of the engines revving and the screech of the 'tires' always makes her cover her ears.
I love the launch sounds of TTD and WT also. You'll have to tell me what you think of Xcelerator. :)

I just think it is dumb to pass judgement on the finale untill I actually take a spin on it. It looks like the best part of the ride to me.
I like Xcelerators launch sound. It's quite different from Dragsters, and it sounds neat.
Without the audio, Dragsters launch is quite silent.....that is unless you're standing next to the cable feeder wheels and the catchcar brakes.

That second half looks like it will provide an awesome experience along with the first half of Maverick.
^^But is only half the height and slightly more than half the speed.:)
But that's Xcelerator, not Maverick. I still say those 2 stengels, heartline, and bunny hop will rock just as much and the first part of the layout. *** Edited 4/14/2007 4:03:20 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

I somewhat agree with EJH1701, although the second half layout looks cool, from the cell phone videos it looks like it crawls through those stengals.

so what if there is no 'finale', if they take out the "roll" then we wont even have a starting point.

Even if they take out the heartline (which would be bad) I herd the ride maintains so much speed that you probably won't notice too much about a finale, like Millennium.

I stand by my initial post even more now. The heartline was the one element I was looking forward to post launch.
