Kudos to Ride Crews

Our "home" park is Carowinds but we got out to Cedar Point last week for our first visit to the "motherland" of all coasters.

I just wanted to say how much we loved watching most of the crews working. The crews at CP are very much more organized and effecient than the ones at Carowinds. This was especially nice when we went to Mantis because on the "stand up" at Carowinds (Vortex) it takes the crew freekin forever to get people strapped into the restraint system. I am not even sure if they do it properly because Vortex was a very uncomfortable ride.

The crews with the most enthusiasm and interaction with the visitors made the rides SO much better!!! RIDE ON!!

Just wanted to say a big thanks to ALL the crews for your great work in the hot summer!!

I totally agree. I think the crews at CP are awesome. I remember going to Michigan's Adventure just after it was acquired by Cedar Fair. A ride operator on Shivering Timbers was (I kid you not) jumping back and forth over the track as the train came into the station... when he wasn't talking to his friends casually. The lack of caution was pretty disconcerting.

It makes me appreciate the ride ops at CP that much more.

It means a lot from guests when we get complimented for our hard work and dedication.

I'd also like to give some thanks to the ride crews they've been doing a great job this year! :) Keep up the great work.

On August 7th for the Maverick I think they had one of the best crews around! I decided to get on the Maverick just after 930pm because just about everyone left the park due to a storm that was approaching. I little bit of rain and then lightining. Got to the Maverick and there was hardly any line to speak of. I did not get his name but he kept on saying "Shake and Bake". He was probably one of the most entertaining guys around. If you know who he is...PLEASE let him know he has many fans out there. It really made the night that much more pleasurable.

Note: I realize this more thread is about Ride Crews but I really need to say that all employees at CP deserve a Kudos. Just about everyone is pleasant and seems to enjoy what they are doing. Even the ones that really are having a bad day make sure that guest is still smiling.
