In addition to seagulls, watch out for the little black birds with the yellow and red on or by their wings. There was one by Hats and Such that attacked more than one crewmember walking down the midway to work in the morning. The thing just came down, landed on my head and started pecking at me!

They're actually really cool to watch, since they have some sort of "courtship ritual" which involves the male tipping almost upside down from where he is perched and spreading out his wing and tail feathers while singing a song. When I was little and had to wait for the school bus to come pick me up, I could see the blackbirds across the road in the ditch competing with one another while doing this; I always thought it was funny how they would try to outdo one another.
The bad thing about the blackbirds is that they are fierce protectors of their nests. Unlike another bird which might run away when you come near their nest, hoping to distract you, blackbirds will viciously dive-bomb you and peck you to try to scare you away. If you can figure out where their nest is and stay away from it, you probably won't get attacked.

The black birds with yellow and red bars on their wings are (appropriately) known as red-winged blackbirds. Their usual habitat is marshlands and ditches; we have a lot of them where I'm from in Michigan. They're actually really cool to watch, since they have some sort of "courtship ritual" which involves the male tipping almost upside down from where he is perched and spreading out his wing and tail feathers while singing a song. a 12 guage mag load would solve the birdie problem, trouble is though, who wants redwinged blackbird puree for a "trophy". I wonder what bird shot would do to a seagull!
There was also a Sea Gull that hung around our platform for a morning while we tested the trains, but as soon as the first train with guests on it went over the hop by the station, the little bird was hit.:( Didnt leave much to clean up though.
