I was at work tonight and a salesman sold this guy a car and he told me this guy that bought the car goes to Cedar Point alot. So i was talking to this guy and told me about kiddy kingdom being taken out to put something else there and i said to him thats probably why theire putting Planet Snoopy there then huh and said yea. I dont know if this is true or not but i guess we'll have to see if it is.

Kiddy Kingdom is still there. My guess is that this guy had no idea what he was talking about.

I'm thinking someone read/heard about CP putting in Planet Snoopy in the spot of an older kids area and got confused. Everyone knows that the general person doesn't know the difference between Planet Kingdom Snoopy Land Camp. :)

^Why not this year? I'm just saying why have an older rundown kids area near a brand new modern kids area?
Run down? What are you talking about?

Yeah, Kiddy Kingdom is just a large collection of older style kid rides. When maXair opened, Kiddy Kingdom received all new paint and new concrete. Kids seem to love it.

I'm a proponent of having "kiddie areas" in several places in a large park. It is easier on all of the older kids/adults and whoever the primary care giver is so that the group doesn't have to be completely split up all day.

I agree with you Chief Wahoo. I have a 3 year old and an 8 and 11 year old and the older ones like the big rides so it is nice not to have to "split up" so far away. I take my daughter to the front of the park while they ride the big rides in the front half of the park and then we go to the back of the park while they are riding the rides in the back of the park.
The only think I am confused about is why they are building the same rides in the new area as they have in Camp Snoppy. It is possible they may take out camp snoppy? Just wondering.
Not likely. Little kids don't notice the difference, just look at the 4x4's, motorcycles, trucks, cars that are at every carnival, same ride with different vehicles. The only ones who'll notice they are riding the same rides will be the parents who are taking them to the same rides.

My 3 year old could go from space ships, to motorcycles, to mustangs, to old timers, to dune buggies, going in circles, pushing the buzzer button....all....day....long.....
He loves it!
Oh we always have to do Sir Rub a dub's tubs at least 5 times.
The rides they are putting in Planet Snoopy came from Geauga Lake, with refurbishing to the Peanut's theeming. Kiddy Kingdom would be a good location for that 500 footer that I keep hearing about.

LOL yeah, come on, guys... leave Kiddy Kingdom alone. It's charming, it's historical, and it's not like anything much bigger than maXair could go there anyway.
