Just got hired!

Hi everyone! I thought it was a longshot, but I just got hired as a server at the Breakwater Cafe. This is my first year to work at CP and I hope it goes well. My name is Greg, I'm 22 years old, from Huntsville, AL, and I go to Auburn University (War Eagle!) I'm really excited about working at the Point this summer as I've been an enthusiast my entire life. I just thought I'd introduce myself to everyone here and hopefully meet some cool people before I process in on May 16th! Also, any advice for n00bs would be appreciated!

As for advice make sure you get there early , wear a jacket you will most likly spend some times waiting outside .

Dont pack a ton of clothes yous spend most your time in your uniform

bring extra tennis shoes.

Thats crazy you're from Alabama! I'm from Mobile (but I go to school in WV). I process in May 15th, and I'm working in the Soak City Surf Shop. Idk if we're going to be able to get along though, because.... ROLL TIDE! haha :)

Well, considering the recent events in the state (Toomers trees and the tornados,) we have all been getting along, Tide and Tigers alike :P What is the easiest way to find roommates before the summer?

True, true. I'm not sure ab the roomie thing. This is my first year, so I'm kinda winging it too haha. There are alot of threads on here looking for roommates. I guess just start asking around. And there's a group on facebook for it too. Just search Cedar Point Employees 2011 (or something like that).
