Ok, sorry for the delay;)
I got into the park around 11 am and it looked a bit crowded. My friend and I headed right to Dragster and were suprised with a 1/2 hour wait. Yes! But even better, we walked right up to the dividing ramp. Since it was a short wait, we decided to wait for the front seat. I'm so glad I did, because no other seats can compare.
It was about 11:30 or so when we got off, and we were a bit hungry so we went to famous dave's for lunch. I loved going there with all the different sauces!! It was so much fun! But it did take quite a while for our food to come out which was weird because our server, who was very, very nice, kept checking in on us every 5 minutes.
Anyway, around 1PM we headed to Maverick. The line said 1 hour, but we ended up waiting about 45 minutes. So far, this is my favorite ride. I lift hill was so much fun, the drop, I don't think my feet touched the floor;). The quick transitions were fun and not too brutal either. The lauch was awkward. Just a bunch of random lights flashing? But I loved the boom noise that it made taking off. The airtime on this thing was amazing! Even in the inversions! Over the swan pond, we were off of our seats! I'm sooo glad they took off the heartline roll, that would have been dangerous. The finale of the ride was weird too, just it was constant turning and moving, awesome! The floater time on the last airtime hill is so much fun!
After Maverick, we decided to go on Mean Streak. Mistake #1. Then we decided to wait for the front. Mistake #2. There was a guy working there, and he was singing a random song, in my ear...... awkward. Anyway, the ride was fun, and even though many people don't like it, I really do. It's just a fun ride with no wait.
After Mean Streak, we headed to Millennium Force. Again, a 20 minute wait, short enough for a front seat ride. Anyone that has been on it knows that the front is AWESOME!!! I loved it!!
After Millennium, we needed to ride a flat ride. So we checked out MaXair. Why is this the only ride at Cedar Point that can scare me? I scream every time I go on it.
We then saw Wicked Twister was down, and a ride-op said it was struck by lightning. I don't know if that's true or not. So we headed to Magnum. OUCH!!!!! I still have bruises from the ride. I don't know what happened but it hurt like hell. But the airtime was insane!
After Magnum, it was time for another ride on Maverick, this time a back seat ride! While we were about to walk up the steps, we heard that Mav was down due to mechanical reasons. We decided to wait it out. Every time a person would get out of line, a huge roar of clapping would occur. :). We finally started to move about 20 minutes later. We went for the back of the train. Awesome again! After Mav, we decided to head to SkyHawk, with no wait. Pretty fun. But the load time is forever, and I don't feel like whinning, but it is a fun ride.
After SkyHawk we headed over to Mantis, another walk on. It was fun, and it actually didn't hurt this time;).
Overall it was a very fun trip with very short waits. I even say MarkSmall there, thought he didn't see me;)
My next planned trip is July 22nd. Hope to have a great time again!!
Nice trip report! I was there that day.
It's called Millennium Force, not "Millenium" Force. Thanks.
The second wait was about an hour and 15 minutes because of an about 15-20 minute breakdown that occured.
Man this is exciting I haven't heard of real long waits recently.
