June 2nd

Well, I was at the park today.
I arrived at the park with my school's eighth grade choir. At ten, We headed straight for Maverick. We got on in about 30 minutes, and rode the back. It is THE BEST ride in the park. It's also really smooth. After we got out of the exit, we got right back in line. We waited 45 minutes. This time, we rode the front. It was not as good as the back. After, we headed to Top Thrill Dragster. We waited about 25-30 minutes. It's a very intense ride, but still one of my favorites in the park. After, Top Thrill Dragster, we went to Magnum. We kept making jokes about the train bump. It made some of the ride operators laugh. Then, we went to Millennium Force. We waited about 45 minutes. We rode Second row. Very smooth/fun. After Millennium we headed to Raptor. We waited roughly 20 minutes. Awesome ride. After Raptor, we were going to go to Maverick again. We rode the train. It started raining, so we rode the train again to not get wet. When we got off the train, it was pouring. We stood under a tree for a minute and I reminded my group that standing under a tree isn't a very good idea when its storming. We went into Coasters to keep out of the rain. It was packed in there. We had no place to sit. After it stopped raining, we headed to maXair and took a spin on that. After that, we headed to our bus and went home. Doesn't seem like it was very crowded yesterday. Sounds like a good trip!

I went on this day too. But I have to disagree with you about Maverick. I believe the front seat was way better than the back, because you could see how the first drop just curves in. The rain ruined part of my day at CP, but at least it stopped.

The park was not crowded at all, I was there from open till close. I got 2 spins on Maverick (the first and last ride of the day,) 5 rides Magnum, 2 on Gemini, Power Tower, Troika, Raptor, Blue Streak, Sky Ride, Train, MF, and Iron Dragon. When we were on the Blue Streak we saw the clouds coming in and decided to seak cover in Disaster Transport, after about a half an hour it started raining and people poured out of the line (for what reason I dont know) which allowed us to progress to the stairs leading to the ride where we sat out the storm. Once the rain stopped, we left the line and went to MF where we only had a ten minute wait after the rain.

Sounds great..sure wish the choir at my school made a trip up to CP.

Yesterday was interesting.. with the storm, it got so windy trash cans were being blown over, and it was so funny but scary, trash was flying everywhere, it was getting bad. But I kind of felt bad, there was these people chasing a lot of their money blowing across the cement before the entrance gates, and I just sat in a dry room and watched, although it was kind of funny

hahaha. what a day. I went there also on June 2nd. the storm was annoying. It's not a very good idea to go to the arcade and play crazy taxi while it's storming though. Stupid power outage. That was my first Maverick ride. It was awesome.
