We left my house around 6:30 and got to Sandusky around 8:30. My parents and my friends Doug and TJ wanted to eat breakfast so we went to eat at a Perkins (pretty good).
Arrived at Cedar Point around 9:45 and we ran straight to Raptor.
Raptor-We only waited 10 minutes for it , when usually at that time of day I have seen it get past 45 minutes but we were lucky. Raptor was running outstanding! Just ast good as last season. The speed was awesome and sitting in the back intensified it and made it even better. Later in the day around 6:30 we went back and rode it again. Wait was still the same.
Rode It :2 times Waited :10 minutes both times
After Raptor we went to check Wicked Twister. We walked over their and of course, it had to be closed. I was mad but I didn't let it ruin my time so we walked over to Mantis.
Mantis- Wow, a Mantis wait that was only 15 minutes! I must be lucky, first Raptor now Mantis! I haven't ridden Mantis since June 2000 and it was a sweet ride, better then before but those damn trim brakes on the drop are annoying as all hell.
Rode It:1 time Waited:15 minutes
After Mantis, it was 10:30 and surprisingly the lady in front of Millennium Force in the Freeway booth was already stamping hands for 3-4 so my friends and I ran over their. They really need better stamps because in just 10 minutes, it was green/purple/black and smeared all over the back of my hand lol. After that we walked over to Mean Streak.
Mean Streak- After all the rough rides I've had on this coaster, it wasn't running half-bad. It was actually pretty fun and I got some pretty sweet air.
Rode It:2 times Waited:Walk On
After Mean Streak we headed over to Magnum, but first I had to check out the Area 51 wall and I took a picture of the sign saying "Cedar Point is building for the future". I wonder what it'll be.
Magnum XL-200-This ride of course delievered! It's my #2 all time favorite coaster and it gave me a great ride. We sat in 5-1 and I got some pretty good ejector air. I wish they didn't have those trims before the pretzel turn though.
Rode It:1 time Waited 5 minutes
After Magnum, we went over to Corkscrew, it was 11:30 and we were getting hungry but we decided to eat after Corkscrew.
Corkscrew-I forgot why I have skipped this ride everytime at Cedar Point since '99. Although the 2nd hill gives major air, it almost killed us in with the OTSR's. Right before the loop though, I experienced my very first brown out! It sucked lol. After that CS ride, I don't think I'll ever go ride it again.
After Corkscrew, each one of us had a headache and I didn't feel so good so we went to Coasters and bought french fries ($4.50 my ass, it was only $2.75) and a medium pop. Sadly, we had to eat outside in the 94 degree weather but it was fine. After we ate, we walked over to the arcade and played for a while. I won a zippo lighter (after 3 years of trying to win one) from that little machine thanks to TJ for jamming the machine on accident, one of the lighters stopped right on the edge of the hole, so I just put in a quarter and voila...I had myself a zippo but with no lighter fluid...it's not like I smoke or anything. After that, I played a few games of DDR and waited for TJ and Doug to stop trying to get a zippo. After that, we walked over to Wicked Twister and sat down underneath a tree and watched this really cute "Henna Tattoo" girl stand their waiting for customers. Doug wanted to ask if he could have a tattoo with her number on it but she was like 21 or something and we are here, only 16. To my surprise, I saw ride operators in the station of WT running up and down laughing and cheering then 5 minutes later they started testing it! It was around 1:00 pm when they started testing it but they said it won't be open for a while so we walked over to Blue Streak.
Blue Streak -This small ride packs a pretty big punch and we were loving every single minute of it. Sweet airtime, good speed so we had to do it again.
Rode It :2 times Waited Walk On
After Blue Streak, it was about 1:45 so we went over to WT again and watched it go through the course more and more. Around 2:00 we went to buy a pop and sat down on the bench in front of the station...but right when we sat down, I saw people running in the queues, so we ran to the trash can, threw our pops away (half full) and got on the 3rd train of the day!
Wicked Twister -This ride kicks major bootay! I never been on an impulse before and I loved it! The launch was great, the airtime at the peak of each tip was amazing! After the 1st time, we ran around and rode it again and got on the 6th train of the day. God I love this coaster! Later on in the day, we rode it again at around 5:00 pm and waited 20 minutes only because it broke down right when we were about to enter the station so we just sat in the line and waited. If it didn't break down, we would have only waited 10 minutes.
Rode It : 3 times Waited : 5 minutes for first 2 times, 20 minutes for the 3rd time.
After WT it was quarter to 3 so we went over to Millennium Force. We showed our stamps and got escorted to the ramp before the station while people in line were complaining.
Millennium Force -For my 6th time riding it, it still intimidates me but I still love it. The airtime, the speed, and the drop, I love it all!
Rode It :1 time Waited :10 minutes thanks to Freeway.
After MF we walked to Gemini and rode it once with a 10 minute wait. My train lost sadly so TJ and Doug were gloating in my face. After Gemini, we were getting tired so we sat in front of it and bought a lemonade...and it was refreshing. We sat for about 10 minutes and walked around more. It was around 4:00 so we went over to WT for our 3rd ride and waited like I said about0 minutes. After WT we went into DISpatch mASTER Transport, and waited 15 minutes in the lame, but nice air conditioned building. God I hate this ride with a passion, it's just too boring. After that, we got some ice water from the stand and sat it out for about 15 minutes. After that, we met up with my parents for a few minutes and then we seperated again. We walked over to Raptor for our 2nd ride and after that we walked to WT to check the wait and it was past an hour, so we went to Blue Streak but the line seemed too long, so we bought Dippin Dots. Around this time it was 6:00 and we had to leave at 7:30 so after we finished our Dippin Dots it was 6:30 so we went to Power Tower and waited 5 minutes. We went on Space Shot a total of 3 times. After that, we met up with my parents in the front and left the park. Another good trip to my favorite place on Earth, Cedar Point. I can't wait until I go again.
Overall:One of my best trips to the Point. The park looked pretty crowded but the lines were short and service was great. Wicked Twister is one of my top 5 coasters, and that was the highlight of my day.
