June 21 (Very long)

This report isn't going to be nearly as good as Duane's so don't expect a whole lot.

I went with a church group, and didn't get to CP until noon. My friend and I went straight to MF. The wait sign said 1 3/4, but when I looked at the line, it was more like a 1 1/4.

I was set on riding in 5-1. When we were up to the station, I counted and recounted the lines to 5-1. We were about the 11th and 12th people in, so we ran to it to make sure no one else would take it.

This was the BEST RIDE EVER! I got a couple inches of leeway between me and lapbar. The drop was unbelievable! It felt like I was going to fall forward so I put my feet on the floor, and "stood up" not really, but just with my feet on the floor. The 3rd hill was awesome. I just floated not touching the seat or lapbar for like 4 seconds. The last two overbankes felt more extreme and disorientating for some reason. I got great airtime on the returning hill and bunny hill. Over all AWESOME ride!

Off to Mantis.

The sign said 3/4, but it was more like 35 minutes. I got in the back, and it was just as good as any other Mantis ride.

Since my friend wanted to ride MF again, and I was all for it, we rode again. The wait sign said 1 hour. My guess was around 50-55 minutes, and I was right.

Heading into the station, our hopes of the first seat were diminishing, because it looked like we were going to be the last people in the station. But to our suprise, the person working the turn style stopped the line right at us. My friend and I were high-fiving each other.

We got into the first car, and although I tried to get some space between me, I didn't get a lot. Great ride like always. Not as much airtime as the first one, but still a great ride.

It was time for lunch, so my friend and I got pizza from the midway, and got into the Raptor line. It was a 45 minute wait. We got in the back because we like the more extreme ride. Not as rough as the last time I rode(not that it is rough), but still a great flight.

After we got off, we headed over to Demon Drop. I hadn't ridden it in 7 years, and my friend had never ridden it. It was a good ride, and I liked the G's at the bottom of the drop.

We headed to Power Tower for the space shot. Neither of us had ridden UP before, so we thought we would try it. Since I knew how to ride, (sitting on hands and looking up) it was pretty good. Not as good as the turbo drop though.

Then we went to Corkscrew. We got into the back. Not very extreme, but still a good ride.

Off to Magnum where there was about a 20 minute wait.

We rode the ejector seat because it's the best seat to ride in. It was a good ride jam packed with airtime. At the beginning of the ride, I took my hat off like I always do for all the coasters, and snapped it to the lapbar. I forgot it when I got off the ride. When I realized I forgot my hat, it was too late.

We headed over to Gemini. We rode in the back of the red train. It was a good ride, and we suprisingly got some floater airtime on a couple of the hills. It wasn't as much as MF, but it was still cool.

We headed to Mean Streak. I told my friend to hurry up, but I didn't and just as we got to the train crossing, she told everyone to get behind the bricks and then she lowered the arms.

After the arms wentup, we sprinted into the Mean Streak queue. We kept running and running and running, all the way up to the station. We got into the 2nd car. It was a great ride, even with the trims.
After the ride, we ran back around for about a 15 minute wait. We got into the back, even though I thought this was a death wish. It really wasn't that rough. A little bumpiness never hurt anyone. I started laughing at my friend when he put his back against the back of the seat. I told him that it was a no no, but he didn't listen.

After that, we went back down the Gemini midway to ride PT, but I really wanted to get my hat back, so we went to Magnum.

There was only a 15 minute wait and we rode in the ejector seat. It was just as good as the first ride. And...I got my hat back. I went over to the little booth and saw my hat and told the op it was mine.

We headed back over to MF. This time, the wait was about 1 1/4. I had my sites set on 5-1, but when we were running to the queue, I over shot it, and by the time I saw we were in the wrong line, it was already filled.

It was a great ride like always. It was as good of a ride as my second ride of the day. In my opinion the first seat has as good of a view as any other seat.

After we got off, we sprinted back around to see if we would have enough time to ride again, but we only had a hour, and the wait was 1 1/2. So instead, we went over to Mantis.

It was a 15 minute wait so we rode in the back. It was a little better than the first ride because it was getting dark and the wheels were hot so it ran faster.

After we got off, we rode again. It was a walk-on up to the stairs. It was the same as the other ride.

After that it was a walk-on all the way to the station, but we didn't have enough time to ride again. We left around 9:30.
