June 20-22

Day 1 highlights (I am very tired so bear with me)

-Danielle and Kat. Made being the last idiot left in the Dragster station waiting for the wind to die down enough for the coaster to run a lot more enjoyable than it should've been.

-THE ARCADE HAS GIANT LED SPACE INVADERS. IT'S SO MUCH FUN YOU GOTTA PLAY.

-Have you guys seen the design collection for the 'bird' coasters (Valravn, Gatekeeper, Raptor)? It's AWESOME. If I had the means I'd get all three shirts, I like the designs that much.

-Speaking of designs... something only a huge nerd like me would notice. One Rougarou merch design is actually stealing art. It's part of the cover for the World of Warcraft comic book 'Curse of the Worgen'.

-MELT. OH MY GOD. IT'S AMAZING. Had half a Monte Cristo and a Rougabrew, spend just over 20 dollars including tip. Impeccable deal for impeccable food.

-The virtues of being fearless- it started to rain at the end of the day. Most people were running for cover. I decided to get on Maxair instead and it was the most epic ride I've ever had. Flying into the rain... wow. After that I hopped to Troika... just in time for the rain to subside and Gatekeeper to open up. Hopped on. Got a reride. Life is good sometimes. On the other hand...

-The woes of hubris. Not long after I got off my second Gatekeeper ride, the lightning started up. And after THAT, the sky opened up, leaving me walking back to my room in a downpour.
