June 1st and COASTERMANIA

This was my 1st solo trip to the Po!nt and I had SUCH a good time!! It was AWESOME!!
Arrived at CP at 3pm Thursday-heading for Raptor (shock huh?) after the grueling 1.5 hour wait-flew 1x-then off to MF-I managed 3 MF rides by 7:30-heard Raptor calling me-so headed back there again. Much to my surprise (and joy) the line looked like it was getting better...
I managed 16 more flights before they closed the park. So I left that night a happy camper. Yesterday morning-arrived at CP at 4:30am-row 1-the CP police even asked me what was going on-why I was there so early. Got my ERT badge in the park at 6:50-straight for MF. Got 3 ER rides in-hooked up with a couple of people-ended up spending the better part of the morning/and early afternoon with a "Raging Bull" fanatic!
After lunch with my fellow GTTP'ers-I got camera and simply walked around the park taking pics-
started riding again around 4.
I have to admit that the bestest part of the day for me was hooking up with my fellow Raptor nut- Hooper-to ride Raptor together (FINALLY!) and later that evening hooking up Vince who I had rode MF with earlier in the day for another run on MF (my 1st time for MF in the dark! AWESOME!!) and then doing ERT time with him @ first till Hooper caught up with us then it was us 3. I have never had so much fun at CP before!! Mantis was a walk on and although I know it is far beyond anyone favorite-us 3 were having a BLAST! Between calling it "Banshee" - screaming - riding with one leg - wrapped legs - the shoe incident (only Hooper and Vince will understand this!!!) We rode Mantis 12x before we were forced to go to Magnum due to Mantis closing. The 2 laps on Magnum was again some of the most fun for me again-I do believe the Magnum ride ops made a serious mistake when they would ask
"whats the worlds greatest steel roller coaster?"
Hooper and me would scream "Raptor!!"
The laps on Magnum were truly awesome-fun-and such serious airtime!!!
I sadly had to say goodbye to Hooper and Vince and of course CP-
I went back to my hotel WIPED out-
and now sadly I am back in Reynoldsburg Ohio
2.75 hours/129 miles away from my FAVORITE place.
I can chalk up this Coastermania to one of my favorite trips to the Po!nt.
I think about some of the carrying on we did last night and laugh every time!
Thanks Vince and Hooper-you guys were a blast to hang with and it was so nice meeting you both!

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??

I have to agree with you jo, (luvraptor) that was my best trip ever to CP. Riding mantis magnum raptor with you, well lets just say I could not control myself. Just like you each time I think about it I laugh. The one leg mantis rides. Heck we even got the ride op's to say welcome back 'BANSHEE' riders how was your ride, when our train came back. Oh yeah were good. I think those ops liked us three the best. And luvraptor you are also a blast to ride with. Look me up next time you come up and we can do it all over again.

and i thought we agreed that it was not the shoe incident but the shoe LACE incident. (only me luvraptor and vince will get that one). HE HE
