June 15th - June 19th, Hotel Breakers

We arrived on Saturday in a large rainstorm. This is our main vacation for the year, so we reserved a lakeview room at the Breakers. Once the rain stopped at 5.30, we hit the park and got 5 - 6 rides in.

Sunday was the same, big storm at 1 PM that kept us away for 2 hours, but it also kept the crowds down, so we rode a ton. My wife and I greatly enjoyed the Frontier Festival for the newt 3 days, the band is good, and the "modern" set is hilarious!

Monday and Tuesday it heated up, and so did the crowds, but all in all it was a great trip, and everyone seemed in a great mood at the park!

Glad to hear you made the most of your trip despite some rain and crowds. I'm sad that I'm missing Frontier Festival this year. Definitely need to check it out if they do something similar next year.
